

LuphoSmart is a high-precision distance measurement system based on the MWLI®-Technology.
The laserinterferometric measurement system allows the determination of relative disctances with sub-nanometer precision
featuring working distances up to centimeters.
Furthermore, the special method of the Multi-Wavelength-Interferometry offers a range of absolute measurement,
that allows the determination of the objects position absolutely in a range of 1mm.
Therefore with the LuphoSmart system high precision measurements of small steps and rough surfaces are possible;
also small interruptions of the beam do not enforce new referencing.
The probe of the MWLI-system has a size of only a few centimeter which make it easy to adapt in existing applications even at places difficult to reach and with only small space.
Different probes are available for different tasks, featuring a variety of numerical apertures for certain working distances.
Exchanging probes is an easy task as no change in the paramters of the controller system or the software is necessary. This offers a high level in flexibility
The LuphoSmart system is available as a one-probe or a multi-probe-system.
The Mulitprobe-system can handle up to 4 probes which are being read simultaneously.
As the light source and the controller unit is the same for all probes an absolut synchronuous and high precision
measurement of 4 distances is possible. This allows e.g. differential measurements as referencing axis positions.
